I've been using my docked Steam Deck as my main PC for 3 weeks because my desktop broke. Had to switch to Windows 11 due to the missing printer support on Steam OS and a couple bugs I couldn't fix, so I can't talk about the performance on Linux. Games I've played include Forza Horizon 5, Rainbow Six Siege, Rocket League, Fortnite and Back 4 Blood. I have the the framerate limit set to 30 FPS via Steam Deck options. I didn’t mess with any other Steam Deck visual/power options. In the video options within the game, I have Dynamic Optimization on. I have the Dynamic Render Quality set to High. I have the resolution set to 1200 x 800.

We're talking about a 512 core graphics chip, clocked at 1.0–1.6GHz, with a maximum theoretical performance of 1.63 TFLOPS — a paltry figure compared to the best graphics cards. The Steam Deck 4 has been considered "unsupported" by steam for a reason It crashes randomly, after ~10min of gameplay. I have not really seen a fix for this, even with the tips mentioned in this thread protondb users have also reported this behaviour on "regular" PCs playing on linux via proton, so it's not steam deck exclusive behaviour

Gotcha, I guess I may have read info from when the Deck initially released. I think I’ll do like others said, I’ll grab an SD card and see how it goes. If it goes pretty well, I’ll make the internal drive dual boot. 1.

I would say it depends on what you are looking for.. NFS Heat is more of a racing culture imo. Turbo boost, maxing out cars. Better "Paint" options. Great game.. FH5 is more of a car culture with racing elements if that makes sense, graphics are really nice. ZtvXv.
