Before Burial at Sea episode 2, the events of Bioshock 1 were set in stone, and needed no further explanation. Suddenly, it comes out, and Liz trades borderline godhood for setting things right in 1 universe.
The idea behind Bioshock: Infinite is that we can now experience anything, anywhere, and as long as there is a man and a city its still Bioshock. Lunar cities, a hidden civilization in the jungle, ancient civilizations (hoping for Atlantis myself), its all possible.
I still don’t really understand minor things such as how comstock existed in the first place after Elizabeth kills booker in the end of infinite or how Elizabeth exists at that point too haha . But besides this story being insanely confusing and hard to grasp it’s still one of my favorite game series of all time and I really appreciate u
I have not played BioShock 1 & 2. I jumped to Infinite immediately and I've played through all that and Burial at Sea Episode 1. However I've heard people say it's dumb to play Burial at Sea Episode 2 before you've played BioShock 1 & 2 because it would be too many spoilers and such things. My question is if I should play BioShock 1 & 2 before I play Burial at Sea Episode 2 or does it not

For me, the interesting parallel between Bioshock Infinite and other video games is that there are always constants (scripted scenes, overarching plot) and variables (how we play the game). Every video game will be played both the same, and completely different by millions of different players, and that is the sea of infinite lighthouses that IBioShock Infinite.
